Ogden Soccer Community Board - Ogden Soccer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. It is locally owned by the community, specifically our children. As parents we all want the best youth programs we can deliver for our youth. We are open and responsive to what our community requires. We will deliver the best youth soccer experience for your family.
By now you know there is a movement toward expanding opportunities for our youth, coaches, parents, and community by bringing us together with Ogden Soccer.
The following Ogdenites are dedicated to providing the best experience for all families in Ogden and the greater area. Together we are united around the game and our youth.
Director Coaching
Jory Wahlen lives in Ogden Valley. Married with two sons, who both play soccer. Currently a recreational and competitive coach. Has driven out of state to obtain coach licensing and will do what it takes to make sure players have trained coaches. Member of USSF and holds US Soccer Grassroots certifications through 11v11. Ready to support all coaches including Technical Director.

Oscar Gonzalez lives in Ogden. Married with two daughters Both daughters play competitive soccer and play for their school. Coaching certifications through intermediate recreational and competitive soccer. Also holds USSF Grassroots license. Oscar has always been a soccer player; he grew up playing recreational before moving on to competitive soccer. Always dedicated to going that extra mile to help every player be their best. He is devoted to making sure your child has the best soccer programs available and helps support competitive teams development for our organization.
Little Lions Director
Marissa Lovingfoss Homeschool mom of two joined Ogden Soccer back in 2020-21 season as an assistant coach. Ready to build long lasting friendships for her family she soon inherited her own teams within Little Lions and U6. Marissa quickly fell in love with Ogden Soccer's common values of serving the community.

Brittany Litz lives in Ogden. Married with three daughters who all play soccer (two competitive and one recreational) and newborn son (future soccer player :). Coach of recreational soccer for over 4 years. Coaches indoor and outdoor youth soccer. Brittany was a youth recreational soccer player and quickly moved on to competitive soccer with her dad as the coach. She was later recruited for the comp team at Baylor University. Proud supporter of Hill Air Force Base. Participant in PTA and a continuous supporter of our youth throughout the Ogden area.

Brad Ewing lives in Ogden. Married with a son and daughter, who both played soccer. Holds referee certifications for recreational soccer. Helps young leaders succeed by making sure referees are supported with training, equipment, and reimbursement.

Tyler Belliston is a life-time resident of Ogden. Married with three boys and three girls. All have played soccer (or plan to) and is a soccer player himself. He holds multiple levels of recreational soccer coach licensing. He’s current on all US Soccer Grassroots certifications and a Member of UYSA. Currently coaches both recreational and competitive soccer. Because parents see the level of commitment, he is Ogden’s most requested coach for the past 5 years.

Katie Carey lives in Ogden with her husband, son and daughter who play soccer. Carey loves outdoor adventures with family and friends but most of all Soccer Saturdays.

Mike Diamond is a life-time resident of Ogden. Diamond family loyal supporters of “give where you live.” Married with a 1 ½ year old son who loves the soccer ball, and expecting another boy soon. Mike played soccer in Ogden as a youth at the recreational and competitive level. Played collegiate level soccer for Weber State University 2010-2013A, and is an adult recreational soccer player today when time permits. Building the best soccer program for kids that are coming up into the program.
Internal Affairs
David Duran is a life-time resident of Ogden, who is also bilingual. Known simply as “Coach” in our community. For over 25 years, Coach has given to our youth as a coach and a volunteer, also painting fields for many years. He coached his boys here in Ogden, one of whom went on to collegiate level. His youngest son is an incredible competitive player who is on track to be recruited as well. Coach is now back on the 4v4 field with his grandsons. When we talk about the how special community is in Ogden, it’s due to volunteers like Dave Duran.

Jennifer Ewing lives in Ogden. Married with a son and daughter, who both played soccer. Coached recreation soccer over 15 years, and has worked more than 18 years with club finance. A local elementary school teacher and our youth’s #1 supporter. Everyone knows Jen.

Mike Braucher lives in Ogden. Married with a son and daughter, who both play competitive soccer. Coached over 9 years at all levels of the game including coaching for Mt Ogden Jr High 2017 season. Holds all levels of recreational coach licensing. Currently holds USSF Grassroots Licensing through 11v11. He’s committed to building programs that are flexible to serve the local youth.

Steven Van Wagoner, lives in Ogden. Married with two daughters, both play soccer. Coached for 11 years at all levels. Recreational soccer coach instructor certified. Recreational referee certified. Holds highest levels of recreation soccer certifications. Member of United Soccer Coaches. National Federation High School Coach certification, US Soccer D-license certified. Currently coaches two competitive girls teams. Also the head coach for the girls varsity team at Saint Joseph Catholic High School. Inspired by the youth and his love for Ogden.
